The Challenge

7600 Broadway is a sophisticated multifamily community located a few short miles down the Broadway strip in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to providing residents with luxury amenities and a wide variety of floor plan options, they have a prime location in the Alamo Heights neighborhood. However, despite having a great user experience and eye-catching photography, 7600 Broadway was struggling to obtain consistent and meaningful organic traffic to their website.

The Solution

In September 2022, Catalyst began a comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) plan to help drive a steady flow of qualified organic traffic to their site. The team began by conducting in-depth keyword research to see what terms people were searching for and how often they were searching for it. Some of these keywords included “Apartments on Broadway San Antonio” and “Apartments Near Downtown San Antonio.” In total, a list of 14 primary keywords was established — 6 of which the community was currently ranking for on the second search results page or lower, and 8 of which they were not ranking for at all. The Catalyst team concluded that if all were ranking highly in the search results, it would position 7600 Broadway to receive a significant increase in organic traffic.

Equipped with new keywords and insightful data, Catalyst began a cadence of monthly sessions to optimize the 7600 Broadway website messaging, add unique and descriptive meta descriptions and page titles for each page, compare performance against local competitor data, and more.

The Results

As of September 2023, 7600 Broadway is ranking for all 14 of the original keywords identified by the Catalyst team and appears on the first page of search results for 11. Additionally, 10 of these 11 are ranked at the top five positions.

As a result of these SEO ranking increases, from September 2022 to September 2023, 7600 Broadway saw average weekly organic sessions increase by 294%, and organic traffic increased from 11% to 28% of overall traffic.

In the most recent month of reporting, 7600 Broadway received:

  • 2,407 organic website sessions
  • 1,852% estimated increase in share of voice*
  • 85% average position improvement, from an average position in the top 70 results to an average position in the top 10 results
