The client purchased The Highlands, a student housing property in Reno, NV, in early 2015. At the time, no marketing materials were handed over, and the logo for the property incorporated the parent company’s logo heavily, a design that would need to be changed upon acquisition. Catalyst team members visited the site and spoke with both residents of the property and the University of Nevada, Reno students to determine sentiment in the market and further research the marketplace.
Catalyst created a new logo that incorporated local geography without alienating the young student audience. Additionally, Catalyst created a mood board to demonstrate the look and feel of the property, as well as a brochure, sales sheet, and paper system. Catalyst also created digital marketing materials including a new website, social media graphics, and an email template.
