Cue the nostalgia: Remember playing games, making crafts, paddling canoes, and sitting around a bonfire? For 2017, Campus Advantage residents were invited to relive the excitement and adventure of summer camp with a retro camp-style move-in theme. Regardless of weather or property location, students were encouraged to “Explore the Great Indoors.”
Catalyst created a variety of pieces to build excitement for Camp Advantage 2017, as well as to help assist people moving in at each property. Collateral included a logo and branding for the campaign, pennant-style door tags, lanyards, a banner, table tents, stake signs, emails, landing pages, a Camp Counselor T-shirt, a Snapchat filter, social media graphics, and a postcard-inspired fast pass.
In addition to these pieces, Catalyst worked with Campus Advantage’s Students First® team to create a “discovery book” to be used throughout the year at the properties. Throughout the year, different events resulted in students earning signatures or stamps in their discovery book, providing added engagement at each community. Messaging centered around the discovery and adventure of summer camp, and art focused on a warm, vintage-inspired feel.
