Marketing Agency Recognized for Creativity in Reaching Millennials
AUSTIN, TX: Catalyst, an Austin-based agency specializing in marketing for student and multifamily housing, was honored at the 12th annual Davey Awards for the agency’s Dobie Twenty21 Summer Orientation campaign, 2015 Campus Advantage Renewal campaign, and the One Easton website redesign.
The Silver Award-winning campaigns were created for Campus Advantage, a provider of student housing management, development, acquisition and consulting services, and Dobie Twenty21, an off-campus property managed by Trinity Property Consultants that serves students at the University of Texas. Campaign elements included direct mail, website redesign, emails, social media engagement, printed collateral, landing pages, and videos tailored to each campaign that were scalable and cost-effective. Each of the campaigns resulted in increased lease signings.
Designed to help drive leads to Dobie Twenty21’s newly-renovated off-campus property, the Summer Orientation Campaign utilized orientations and direct mail to highlight property improvements and appeal to incoming freshmen. As a result of the campaign, Dobie Twenty21 saw a 37 percent increase in pre-leasing in less than four weeks, closing 71 new leases in the first week, 88 the second, and 57 in the third.
The Campus Advantage portfolio Renewal campaign leveraged the student voice in videos from a variety of properties that showcased how living at a Campus Advantage property helped set them up for success during and after college, a key goal and differentiator for the real estate firm. The campaign resulted in an increase of 296 leases (+124 percent) across the Campus Advantage property portfolio when compared to the previous year.
A fresh take on a website design for One Easton, a student housing community located near the University of Delaware campus, earned Catalyst the third Silver Award. The agency’s redesign served to highlight the luxury offerings that differentiate the community, while also including all of the important property information on the home page.
“These latest recognitions are a testament to the positive impact our integrated marketing campaigns make for our student housing clients’ occupancy rates,” said Jamie Matusek, Vice President at Catalyst. “We are also honored to be recognized for our creative web design work. The Davey Awards and others we earn continue to reinforce that when web design, videos, social media, and advertising all work together, our campaigns make a measurable impact.”
With more than 4,000 entries across the United States and around the world, the Davey Awards honor the best in creative work from small agencies, firms, and companies worldwide.
