Senior Sales Representative

 

The senior sales representative chosen will be responsible for building sales opportunities for the organization by identifying and developing contacts for potential new business. The individual chosen must have a proven track record of success for building a sales pipeline, as well as have a demonstrated closing percentage of at least 50% of proposals pitched.

Catalyst is a full-service marketing agency serving off-campus student housing properties, multifamily properties, universities, and commercial real estate clients. We specialize in branding and marketing efforts that assist our clients in leasing up to their desired goal.

You will work directly with the team to build strategies and campaigns, lead conversations with our customers regarding project status and performance, and work to grow opportunities with our current customers.

 

Senior Sales Position

The senior sales representative chosen will be responsible for building sales opportunities for the organization by identifying and developing contacts for potential new business. The individual chosen must have a proven track record of success for building a sales pipeline, as well as have a demonstrated closing percentage of at least 50% of proposals pitched.

 

Key Initiatives:

  • Develop the agency’s new business growth strategy in conjunction with their supervisor to align with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Grow the agency’s client roster by identifying prospective clients and building prospecting lists.
  • Call prospective clients to secure discovery meetings.
  • Develop presentations and proposals for potential clients.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and the prospect during pre-client and onboarding phases.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Define a 30-, 60-, 90-day growth plan in conjunction with the supervisor to outline key monthly and quarterly pipeline building activities and revenue goals.
    • Research and build prospecting lists for calling and campaign initiatives.
    • Cold-call prospective clients to secure meetings.
    • Identify and solicit prospective clients within the multifamily, residential real estate, senior living, commercial real estate, and student housing verticals, as well as other relevant verticals as defined by the supervisor via networking, research, phone calls, email communication, etc.
    • Maintain a sales pipeline for prospective client opportunities and update records in Salesforce for proper tracking and reporting.
    • Deliver a weekly sales report utilizing the Salesforce application.
    • Prepare and deliver agency presentations and pitches for the acquisition of new business.
    • Subscribe to key industry publications and media alerts to identify new business opportunities.
    • Attend business conferences with the intent of networking to build opportunities.
    • Gain a full understanding of Catalyst to determine the correct strategies and tactics to pitch to a prospective client.

  • Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions that are timely and in the best interests of the agency.
  • Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress toward goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
  • Plan: Determine strategies to move the agency forward, set goals, create, and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results.
  • Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.

 

Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in selling services to various industries, or have experience in the real estate business sector.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth
  • Proven closure rate of over 50% of proposals pitched
